A digital object can be any kind of physical object that can be viewed or touched.
The digital forensic examiners are trained to examine and document the physical characteristics of a physical object.
The physical characteristics can include: How it was made, how it was created, what it was used for, how the physical condition of the object affects the object’s physical properties, and so on.
These physical characteristics may include: Shape and size, such as the shape of the surface it was built on, its texture, its shape, and the shape or size of the objects’ joints.
